Sara & James were a really lovely couple who married on Friday 11th August 2017.
The preparation was at their house, followed by the ceremony at The Asylum Chapel, and finally the reception at One Friendly Place.
I have a particular style of photography, and Sara & James really wanted me to use those skills for their big day. Neither of them was into having their photos taken and said they weren’t all that good in front of the camera, funnily every bride and groom tell me the same thing. This makes it an exciting challenge, it means I’m going to have to work for a good shot.
Now, these two lied, they’re a good-looking couple and were perfect in front of the camera. It was a breeze to photograph them because they did what I asked, ignored me. This is when I work best when I’m hiding behind walls, plants and on balconies, hiding away and snapping shots that they have no clue I’m taking. That natural smile, that raw emotion, is what I love to take away from a wedding. Sara & James were very relaxed through the entire day, and it really showed in the photos.
It was a fun-filled day with these two and their friends and family, and I thoroughly enjoyed being part of it and editing the photos, I hope you do too.
